We know that wedding planning can be quite an overwhelming process, but we are glad to know you are doing your research to find the vendors that will fit into your plans perfectly!  Of course, we love to meet with our brides in person and will answer any questions you have at that time, but to help you get started, here are a few frequently asked questions.

How far in advance should I book my wedding? 

We always recommend to book as soon as you are able to.  We understand that there are varying lengths of engagements, but we do reserve the wedding date based on the first client to pay their retainer fee and only shoot one wedding a day.  Certain times of the year fill up much faster than others, so we love to chat with you as soon as you know your date!

Do you travel? 

We enjoy every opportunity we have to photograph local brides in Gainesville and the surrounding areas, but also LOVE to travel throughout Florida and beyond.  Special quotes will be given for travel outside the Gainesville area.


What products do you offer?

We are ridiculously obsessed with the quality of everything we put our name on. Our albums are printed on archival photo paper and are gorgeous hand-bound coffee table style books.  We can also create beautiful save the date cards and custom designed guest books that reflect your personalities and that your guests will love.  We work with a professional printers to ensure your printed images and canvases are of the highest quality.

Do you sell digital files? 

The Masterfiles from your wedding are offered as an a la carte option on the price list. We believe that printed images of your loved ones are the most precious pieces of artwork you can have.  We are incredibly proud of the quality of design and printing we offer in our albums and printed products, but are happy to offer you the digital files (and a written print release) after the album is printed.


Do you offer a second photographer?

As a husband and wife team, we read each others thoughts, know the images each of us will capture and are absolutely confident the experience will be perfect. There will always be two cameras and it is always Paul and Kristin together.  We decided in the beginning stages of our business that we didn’t want to separate. We hold to that today and never split up for our weddings.


The big question!  How much does it cost? 

Our pricing works in two ways. We offer both packages and a la carte pricing. All of our packages include wedding day coverage and a beautiful custom album. They start at $4200. We always enjoy speaking with every interested bride and working to find something that works perfectly for you.  While we definitely are not the least expensive studio in the area, we are one of the most artistic and service-oriented ones. We understand how important this time in your life is and are hopeful we can create a package that you’re really excited about!

Do we need an engagement session? 

We definitely recommend an engagement session.  Most of our packages include one, and this is a time that not only allows us to get to know each other before the wedding, but allows you to become comfortable in front of our cameras.  We want you to be confident that the wedding day will be natural and fun!

How much wedding day coverage do I need? 

Different coverage options are available with our wedding packages, and we also offer extra hours as an a la carte option.  The important thing to consider is how much of the getting ready process and the reception moments you want us to capture.  All weddings are different, but we find that 8 hours of coverage tends to be the magic number.


What’s next?  How do I inquire about booking?  

We love to have brides come by our studio so that we can meet with you and talk in person!  You can call our studio at 352.562.3066 or email ( to set up your consultation.  If you don’t get a hold of us right away, someone will contact you back within 24 hours to schedule the most convenient date and time for you.  If you are not in the Gainesville area, we can also schedule phone consultations for our out of town couples. We suggest you bring your fiancé, parents, or any other decision makers to the consultation… And cupcakes, or cookies?  Ok, we’ll bring the cupcakes…
