We headed down to the lovely and historic downtown Micanopy for Chanity & Brandon’s engagement session. Chanity works at the Herlong Mansion where they’ll be getting married on 10/10/10 (fun!) so we met there and started walking. She knew all the interesting little nooks and doors and sidewalks. I tried to convince them to climb a tree, but they declined…another time maybe…perhaps for the wedding? Hmmm?

Kathy and Erika with KB’s Kake Kreations designed our gorgeous Footstone display cake! It sits in the window in the front of our studio where you can see the logo from the outside. Just walking by it makes me salivate! It smells so yummy and it brings the new Footstone color, “plum”, into the conference room so perfectly. Kathy and Erika also sponsored our reveal party by bringing their famous truffles. I promise I don’t know what happened to the two that were missing before the party started… Giovanni was totally wandering around on our side!
More on Giovanni later… but a special thanks to KB’s for being so encouraging and supportive of our redesign and expansion. When the stress got almost unbearable, truffles were always close by. Love you two!
We’re happy to announce that in the past few weeks we’ve redesigned the blog, the website, our marketing materials… and our studio! I must admit I thought it was an impossible task that could never be accomplished in such a short amount of time. But because my husband needs no sleep and the unending support of our friends and family, it’s really happening! The blog is up, the website is live, the materials are printed, and the studio is complete! We’ve undergone a complete facelift. Five enormous and gorgeous new prints, eleven new canvases, new furniture, new paint, 200 square feet of new space… it’s unbelievable! Ok… breathe… and Paul… get some sleep!
It’s been an absolutely amazing year… we couldn’t have done it without you!
